Magoebaskloof ME is located in the Limpopo province just 24 km from Tzaneen and 16 km from Haenertsburg, on the R71 road in Magoebaskloof.
The Backpacker Cabins accommodation is a total of 8 rooms sleeping 4 each with 8 private en-suite bathrooms. There is a communal kitchen with all the basics, kettle, gas stove, fridge (no freezer) and stand-braai's available. Parking is about 50 m away. Please note that you will need to use stairs to move around and there is no reception but there is Wi-Fi and reception available at the restaurant.
The self-catering units on offer include R&R's Cottage, The Family Dungeon, and the Couples Penthouse. These units come equipped with comfortable beds, and a bathroom fitted with a bath or shower. On-site facilities include a braai area, secure parking, and free Wi-Fi. - Please read more about each unit as they are all very different.
Guests can visit The Farmstall (open daily) across the road for breakfast and your cup of coffee or enjoy dinner at the on-site restaurant called The Boma (open on weekends only).
The property has an onsite therapist and offers massages, reflexology, pain neutralising and other alternative treatments.
We have resident dogs on the property, who are all friendly, trained and always excited to greet guests.
30% of the year we have students on the property who are all on a constructive Gap Year to grow emotionally, physically and mentally. They are respectful and you might meet them at the Boma.
Please note that all the accommodation is on the same property and we have private residents, therefor no parties, no loud noise or music after 19:00 and before 10:00 and NO smoking in any of the units is allowed.
The Boma is available for functions, events and can have live music.

The water comes from a natural spring and is 100% drinkable.
We also share this magical forest with all its creatures - note that we have Pest Control stations.
Summer is our rainy season and showers come and go. Some days we have rain and mist for up to 5 days at a time. The days can get hot and a swim is a must! Pack something warm as the nights cool down.
Winter has the best sunny days and the nights are cold.
Nearby activities include horse riding, canopy tours, fishing, bird watching, wine tasting, swimming, cycling, big five, mountain biking and game drives.
